When a member completes a SuperMatch Request Form and returns it to our office, we can then conduct a search of the following Tax Office databases - Lost Members Register, Superannuation Holding Accounts Reserve, and the ATO Superannuation Guarantee records. Any amounts located in the Superannuation Holding Accounts Reserve or Superannuation Guarantee records will then be automatically transferred to the client's account in EmPlus without the need for any further instructions or forms from the member. If we find any accounts recorded in the Lost Members Register, we will let the member know and send them an already completed Transfer Authorisation for them to sign - these can not be transferred automatically as they are held by other Funds, and not the ATO.
