The Southern Cross Super Plan is a sub-plan of the Taxi Industry Superannuation Fund, a Public Offer Superannuation Fund (SFN 1348/539/43).
The Fund is issued by the Trustee, Trust Company Superannuation Services Limited. The Administrator is Millennium3 Financial Services Pty Ltd, a national adviser network whose superannuation administration practice provides services to more than 34,000 members, with over $110 million in funds under administration.
The principle Insurer is ING Australia, but other insurers can be used in special circumstances.
Investment Managers include AMP Capital, BT Funds Management, Challenger International, Colonial First State, Credit Suisse, HSBC, ING, Merrill Lynch, MFS, and Perpetual.
The Plan is open to employees, the self-employed, and spouses, and it can be used as a parking vehicle for rollovers. Membership is also available on an "insurance only" basis.
The Fund has no minimum contribution requirements. Contributions can be paid by cheque, EFT, Direct Credit, Direct Debit, and Internet Banking.
Members can keep up to date with all Fund details, as well as add new members and provide contributions details, via our internet facility, Gpen.
Challenger Investments, the Responsible Entity for the Howard Wholesale Mortgage Trust, have announced an amendment to the rules on withdrawals from the Trust. The effect of these rules is that members are temporarily unable to switch out of, or redeem units held in, the Howard Wholesale Mortgage Fund
